Ultimate Spa And Beauty Treatments

Posted by Pete Malcolm on Jan 16, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Spas are historical centers to get people feeling healthy again. The reason for this was because people would think the waters of particular places were healthier, so they would go on vacations there. Better climates may have played a part in this, but mostly people felt better after they relaxed from stressful lives. Spa and beauty treatments are very popular even today, though they are more advanced in healthy living and beautifying techniques than in older days.

Everyone should take a few days off here and there and spas are great options for people who really want to be pampered. You will never feel as good as when you have been to a spa. Start out with a massage to really loosen up. You cannot do much else to feel good until you get rid of all the tension you carry in your muscles. Massages are not just for your back any more. There are scalp and face massages, finger massages, and toe massages.

While you are at a spa, take advantage of facials. You can prevent much damage by having a good skin care regimen at home, but only at spas can you get the full benefit of hard core skin care. There are certain techniques, equipment, and lotions that are simply too time-consuming or expensive for you to do at home. You can have skin steams, extractions, exfoliation, masks, peels, and creams.

The skin is only the beginning, though. Do not neglect other areas like your nails and hair. It is healthy for you to get manicures and pedicures. Waxing is also available to get rid of unwanted hair for longer periods of time than shaving. Women tend to get these treatments most often, but men are starting to come around on them, too.

Mud baths are cures for arthritis. They relieve many stresses on the body. This is another thing good for the skin. Sometimes peat from bogs is also used, but this tends to be a more cosmetic pursuit. Mud wraps can be a very interesting highlight for visitors. It is a weird sensation to be completely covered and it tingles when it dries. This leads to immense relief when the mud is wiped off.

Steam is a leading tool, and one that most people cannot really control in their houses. This is why people need to go to spas–for the saunas and steam baths. They detoxify you through making you sweat. In this way you can make you lose weight and make you feel healthier. Steam baths are a natural part of these spas, since most spas were centered around natural hot springs.

If you want to learn healthy ways of living, this is an all-in-one place to go. You can visit with nutritionists to learn how to eat properly. You can learn fun ways to exercise like doing yoga. This is a way to take the best parts of the spa with you, all the way home.

Posted by David Anttony on Jan 13, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Bees are all giving by nature. They give naturally to maintain the environment of abundance. But each bumblebee actually takes a different standing in maintaining the colony as well as the flower garden. So, I thought human beings are the same. We are all naturally giving and sharing. But we express our giving in different ways. So, here it is a ‘giving bumblebee’ chart where you can find your bee type. Watch out for the following bee analysis! The more you share your value as a giving bees, the more we can all do together to make a difference.

Check here for image: http://www.buy1-give1free.com/images/What-type-of-giving-bee-are-you-Global-Giving-Village-sml.jpg

Bee type analysis

1. Change-making bumblebee

A giving bumblebee who likes to see change – who spots every opportunity to do something better and worthwhile. A change-making bee often starts up new interesting projects for others to participate in. A flexible thinker who can collaborate well with others while often taking a leadership position in making change. Many business people and creators are this type of giving bee. They are not afraid of creating change.

2. Believing bumblebee

A giving bumblebee who believes in one core belief very strongly and inspire others to follow. Rather than changing all the time and being way too flexible, this giving bee attracts others by being solid like a rock and integral to the unshakable belief and vision. Some of the religious leaders as well as politicians are this type of giving bumblebee. Believing bumblebees makes for a great leader who attracts huge numbers of followers. This bee can also be a great follower who strongly supports an existing belief and excites others to come together.

3. Caring and nurturing bumblebee

A giving bee who may not stand out as a strong leader but often are the biggest heart focused giver. A caring and nurturing bumblebee is selfless in giving and is always the first to take the giving action when seeing anyone in trouble. Though this bumblebee seems gentle and subtle, the strong desire to give and care for others drives this giving bumblebee to exhibit some incredible giving acts. Many people who dedicate their lives to giving (volunteering, community service etc) are this type of bee. Giving is more natural to them.

4. Supporting and uniting bumblebee

A giving bee who sees the largest value in connecting and cooperating in effective partnerships. This giving bee is very focused on finding existing great ideas, mechanisms, philosophies or beliefs to benefit the community. It tends to support what resonates with him/her more often than coming up with a brand new way. A supporting and uniting bee is less attached to own way and has more flexible mind while being quite strategic about what to support. Rather than taking immediate action emotionally, this bee sees the value in creating the long-term unity. Long-term ‘quiet’ charity givers and those who take low profile in community giving but stick to the same project for a long time are more often than not this type of bee.

Important Information About Cubic Zirconia Rings

Posted by Abigail Sweet on Jan 12, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Have you been searching for a new ring but can’t seem to justify the thousands a real diamond ring costs? The end of your search is here with cubic zirconia rings. Cheap and beautiful, Cubic Zirconia Rings, are often referred to as CZ. There is not a time where a Cubic Zirconia ring is not a appropriate fashion accessory.

Initially discovered in 1892 Cubic Zirconia is a gem created in a lab. It was first grown in 1930 by German scientists, however they felt it lacked any importance and never formally named it. From then until now the gem is still referred to by its original name of cubic zirconia. Widespread production started to happen in the early 70s and a total of over 50 million carats were produced by the 80s.

Cubic Zirconia is the cubic form of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). It is a very had material and virtually colorless which makes it a ideal for use in rings and other jewelry. CZ has a 8 rating on the mohs scale for hardness, a refractive index of 2.176, a dispersion power of 0.060, and are virtually flawless unlike diamonds. These factors all make for a great quality gemstone for use in the production of jewelry.

Cubic zirconia rings are sold in many forms. One of the most popular forms of buying CZ rings is in the form of celebrity replicas. For a fraction of the cost of a real diamond you can purchase celebrity rings that resemble those worn by big names like Kendra Wilkinson, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Walsh, Jennifer Hudson, Heidi Montag and many many more!

Diamonds cost a lot. Spending less and still looking great is easy with Cubic Zirconia Rings. A value that cant be beat with a endless list of options, CZ Jewelry can be had for pennies! High quality precious metals can be added to the ring in the form of a band and the cubic zirconia ring can be worth much more then typically thought. CZ Jewelry will knock diamonds out of the park!

Bordello Shoes – Providing a Sexy Foundation for Your Act

Posted by Jamie Liebrand on Jan 10, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Every burlesque dancer has to have a sexy pair of shoes, but there is always the question of how tall is too tall. Even though they are all “high”, there are certain levels of high heel shoes that fit a particular situation. Some people might say that the taller they are the sexier they are, and others argue that there is no need for such high heels. Obviously you can make your own judgment about high heels, but here is some advice to help pick the right pair for you.

For long shifts at work, shorter bordello shoes are usually the way to go. If you’re going to be on your feet all day, it may not be wise to be parading around in eight inch pumps. With that said, short shoes can still be cute of course. They may not be the extreme runway style that some people love, but if corporate America can rock them, why can’t performers do the same? If you are a particularly clumsy person, this height may be ideal as well. Just stick to three inches or less and you should be fine.

For something a bit more eye-catching, you can go with some bordello shoes with a higher heel. That’s where the attention really starts to set in. If you’re dancer and perform in stripper shoes, you might want something that can make you stand out from the competition. Most guys won’t pass up six-inch heels because it takes a lot of skill to walk in. If you mainly perform on the ground than six inch heels should not be an issue. If you are clumsy and working on a slick stage, you might want to train yourself with high heels, or start off with shorter heels.

For those of you with some experience, shoes can go up to a whopping eight inches tall. These are known to be very hard to walk in, but they could do wonders to your body. If you’ve got your feet in the air most the time, these shoes will get you a lot of attention which will bring you all the tips in the world. Make sure you practice and break them in before getting on the stage, to avoid any embarrassment of tripping and falling. Next to that, it’s all about working what you’ve already got. Let bordello shoes show your true talents.

The right bordello shoes can also add a whole new style element to your regular dancing outfit. A plain black corset can be glammed up in an instant with some flashy pink heels. Women love to accessorize in general, and good shoes can be the best accessories of all if you get the right ones. Keep it classy and simple or go all out. It’s totally up to you. Just knowing that you have a cute pair of shoes waiting for you in the closet might be enough to get you in the performing mood.

Food For Your Body And Soul

Posted by Masami Sato on Jan 9, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

As the proverb goes, health is wealth. And in this instance we are talking about the wealth of the human spirit. Good food is necessary for our health because our body is able to absorb its full nutrients – it is exactly so with our life. When we accept life in its sum total, relishing all its phenomena and sensations, our soul will be able to imbibe its entire range of ‘nutrients’, comprehending the full meaning of our existence, and letting us live our life to the utmost. Masami Sato shares the secret of living a full life in this excerpt from her latest book, ONE.

Why is it that many of us, (actually, most of us) now and then feel some sort of a barren sensation in our lives? It is like being ravenous. When we eat, we are satiated and become slightly indifferent to food. But after some time, we once again feel like having food. Then suddenly we are drawn again to the aroma and picture of food. We can also feel strange pangs of hunger when we are not actually craving for food – just after having eaten something. Some of us have a craving all the time.

Persistent emotional thirst is not the happiest feeling to have. Then how can we live our lives to the brim? How can we be more contented enduringly?

Maybe the answer is straightforward: just live our lives fully. The word ‘full’ holds the meaning of entirety. Then the secret to live a life in entirety is only to live it fully.

Let’s start to look at one example of this ‘wholeness’ with something awfully close to our heart-our stomach.

Whole Food VS Semi Food

We are familiar with the word ‘whole food.’ It is said that consuming whole food is the secret to the health and fitness we need. What has whole food got more than ‘part food?’

A whole grain for example has a life. So, if you soak the whole grain in water, drain the next day and leave for a few days, it sprouts. It has a life of its own. When we eat such food, our body absorbs the full live nutrients. It has all the properties to cleanse, heal and nurture different body cells.

As in the example of a grain, most conventional dining includes having whole creatures as well. Having entire fresh fish used to be more popular than taking a portion of fish and throwing the balance away. It was ditto for poultry and also for vegetables.

‘Half food’ sometimes has more sweetness and flavour but not much other nutrition. We like its taste, but we could develop a long-term illness if we only ate ‘half food’ every day of our life.

So, to make up for the missing half, we began to take nutritional supplements. We have been trying and researching for pretty long to find the perfect equilibrium. It gets more and more difficult as we slice the food up, add preservatives and transport, and even try to supplement with other parts coming from various sources, places and seasons. Some of the nutrients are not even from natural resources. They are synthetically generated. After it is tested and analysed, it is approved for man’s consumption. But however hard we try, we cannot merge the ‘bits’ from different sources to make it alive.

Semi Life-’Sweetness’ of Life

So, if we view our life now, a lot of what we are doing is akin to eating ’semi food.’ Just relishing the sweet taste of life but discarding the actual nourishing part. And if we immerse this ’semi life’ in water with other bits and kept it under the sun, could it sprout and develop into a lovely full life?

Whole food is not (as some people perceive it) poor in taste. It is actually tastier when we prepare it properly. But while the demand is low, it is more expensive. It is actually more economical in the long run though, as we have less medical expenses later on. When more people start eating it, it will naturally become cheaper because it is a simpler food with less processing and waste.

Our life is the same. When we only appreciate the ’sweetness’, and throw away the rest in rubbish bins because we don’t see its value, we may be wasting the most important part. And the part we throw away could have the greatest power for the sustainability of our life and our economy. It also takes more energy and resources to discard it. Better yet, the part we throw away is free.

So, what is it we are not seeing?

Imagine a life where we didn’t really feel we were missing anything there.

The secret is right here. The secret of a complete life.

Entire Life-The Complete Life

When it is ‘full’, it does not matter how big the full is. It can spread out all at once. It can still have within it all the components to uphold itself as a complete living thing. Once it develops to a given size, it can continue to live without some portions of it. Like plants can remain alive after birds feed on a little of it or trees survive even after losing their leaves. But if we ignore the equilibrium for a pretty long time, finally it can lead to a deadly disproportion. Then it might become too difficult to revert to normalcy.

We do not have to return to prehistoric times to find fullness. Fullness exists in the present. All that is required to do is view intently; view intently enough to actually find.

When we can see our life as an entirety and resist jettisoning what feeds our life the most, we start feeling more and more satisfied without searching for ‘material’ to fill the depressions and vacuums of our life. Everything finally finds its level. We now recognize the entire apparatus of the world in a very altered way.

Yes, it is now time to discover how we can fashion (and perceive) this equation consistently and affordably.

The actual sustaining element of our life is what makes us feel joyful deep down. It is like that component of food that makes our body strong in the long-term. Emotions we feel in our everyday life are the real solution to our permanent happiness. And there are emotions that make us feel more absolute.

The smiling visages we see when we acknowledge the merit of others. The happiness we feel when we give others gifts. The tenderness we feel when we see our children being happy. The motivation we get when we sense that our life is full of substance ..

Let us absorb these moments of our life wholeheartedly and savour the aroma of our full life. Then we will find how it is not obligatory to incessantly fill our heart (and belly!) with earthly satisfactions – those types of things that only add to our yearnings afterwards.

We can actually sense this pleasure, gratefulness and ardour in order to be aware of life as a whole at any moment despite the conditions. It is not about what we find, what we learn or what we accomplish that finalize our life in its entirety. It is about what we ‘elect to’ experience about our life.

Yes, our life in fact is already whole.

When we start taking actions based on this understanding, we can become true masters of the balance creation-long-term health, wealth, nurturing relationship and happiness.

How You Can Succeed With Distance Learning Education While You Work?

Posted by Mary Jackson on Jan 7, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Consider the benefits of a distance learning education: keep working and getting paid, forget a fixed class attendance schedule, and have the flexibility of studying when it’s convenient for you. It is obvious that most students striving for an online degree seem to have the best of both worlds.

However, distance learning education is not without certain challenges. Traditional students are spurred on by the interaction with others and attending the lectures. Without a lot of discipline and intrinsic motivation, distance learners can easily get sidetracked by life and fail to keep up with the coursework needed to pass the class. Enjoy the benefits, but do not forget the responsibilities.

So, how can online students stay focused and overcome the challenges of learning from home? First, time management skills are essential. With only so many hours in the day, it is important to make time for work and family, and still have enough hours to adequately study the courses. Make a plan and stick to it. Let the family participate in your success. Let everyone know what your hours are dedicated to learning without interruption. Without a schedule, obtaining a distance learning education will be extremely difficult.

Staying motivated can be difficult for many who are earnestly striving for a distance learning education. Therefore, it is imperative to stay in contact with fellow students. With the availability of email, instant messages, class online message boards, and online chat, it is a great way to commiserate, encourage, and discuss assignments and projects. Staying in touch with other students taking the class helps in keeping each other active in class and accountable.

In addition to peer contact, rewarding personal education goals is an excellent way to stay motivated and succeed in obtaining the distance learning education that you need. Write particular course milestones on a calendar, and then celebrate the achievement. For example, after completing a major project, do something nice for yourself. Then, cross out each accomplishment. With a sense of personal satisfaction, it will keep you motivated to face the next educational hurdle.

Finally, a quiet place to study, away from distractions, is paramount. The television, telephone, and family will be very distracting and take away from quality study. Set times to not be disturbed. If necessary, lock yourself in a quiet room with adequate space to spread out on a table or desk. Sit in a comfortable chair and add any necessary elements to ensure an environment conducive to productive study.

Although distance learning is a great and effective learning concept, much of its effectiveness is dependent on the habits and determination of the individual. The full advantages of distance learning can only be gained through hard work, discipline and determination for success.

Mary J. writes articles on online distance education including distance learning education degrees available online.

Life-Changing Quotes In ONE Book: Solving The Mystery Of Life

Posted by Masami Sato on Jan 6, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Part One of Three

This collection of beautiful quotes that will inspire you to awaken your curiosity about the mystery of life is excerpted from “ONE”, a book by Masami Sato, the founder of Buy1GIVE which is a global giving organisation sharing the joy of giving. The quotes in this first edition include topics that are profoundly related to our everyday lives, such as mystery, judgment and connection. This article is the first part of the 3 “ONE Book Life-Changing Quotes Series”.

On transforming judgment

“Judgment often has very little relation to reality.”

“Actions and words don’t always accurately reflect who we are. Every single one of us has had the experience of wanting to undo what we did or said.”

On the mystery of life

“It’s very, very clear that we don’t need to know all of the ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ of life to keep living on this planet.”

“There are so many things we don’t understand in life. In spite of that lack of understanding though, we often enjoy experiencing those things.”

“Seeing is important but trying to figure out everything isn’t necessary.”

“The scientists are not here to reveal the ‘truth’ because we are here to seek it forever. They are actually here to complicate the game (of life) so that we can have more questions and enjoy the game longer.”

Connection

“Connection is the core of everything. That’s what life is. Connection.”

“Every single thing we do is to satisfy the need for connection.”

“We cannot feel unhappy when we are feeling totally connected. It’s impossible!”

“We are designed to constantly seek ways to connect to each other and to a greater purpose.”

“’solutions’ coming from fear and doubt may not be the most effective ways. We end up feeling more and more disconnected from each other.”

“We can only truly celebrate the victory with others when we win together. Then we feel connected.”

“This is the game called ONE. The aim of the game is to ‘connect’! We keep connecting until we all become ONE.

Buying Robed Lingerie For Night And Morning Wardrobes

Posted by Chris Channing on Jan 5, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Some of us are morning people, while others are fine with skipping it and sleeping until the afternoon. Whichever the case, lingerie robes are popular for women who like to sleep comfortably and do so in style. Many styles exist to suit any taste in fashion.

The classic long robe is a staple in the lingerie robe industry. Usually made of cotton, these robes cover the entirety of the legs and arms. Long robes are sometimes hard to maneuver in when doing tasks such as making breakfast or doing morning chores, so they are best suited for bed wear and small activity. Some women also dislike them in warm temperatures.

Long robes are good for lounging, but aren’t so good at activities that shorter cut lingerie robes can do. Short cut lingerie robes will be easier to move around in when you are tending to children or starting a meal. Short cut lingerie robes will also be more comfortable in warm weather, where the extra length of longer robes will only raise the body heat to uncomfortable levels.

Fashion designers have had a field day with the way robed lingerie is styled. You don’t have to settle for less with a single color. Instead, you can get designs today that use other cultures as inspiration for new designs. Whether flashy or styled behind a Japanese culture, the lingerie robes of today are interesting to look at. If you’re going to be comfortable in a lingerie robe, you might as well be comfortable while looking stylish!

The bride in a wedding wears bridal lingerie for the big day, but it’s nice for a bridesmaid or friend give a set of robed lingerie for lounging around in. It’s the perfect gift for a wedding if you are sure that no one else has bought robed lingerie for the lucky bride. After all, it commemorates the day of wedding, and also gives the gift of comfort. It’s easy enough to ask the bride for her measurements and have it ordered in time for the wedding.

You might be surprised to read that robed lingerie can be bought at low prices- even as low as $15. Robed lingerie has drastically dropped in price due to new designs flooding the market. Name brand designs can be purchased at $30 or more on average, but if you are good at shopping you can find an even better deal. Night clothing won’t cost an arm and a leg- making it a perfect gift to give to others or yourself.

In Conclusion

If you have never had the luxury of enjoying robed lingerie, do yourself a favor and buy a set to see how you like it. Robed lingerie is extremely comfortable to sleep in, looks great, and is inexpensive. Also keep it on the list of gifts you could give to friends and family that are close to you.

Are You Suffering From Yeast Infection Symptoms? – Find Out What Most

Posted by Bernarda Gwendig on Jan 4, 2010 under Christmas Gifts For Women

Are you tired from the chronic yeast infection that’s disturbing you? If the answer is yes then good! I’m very glad that you made it into this page because I will be covering some of the common symptoms that yeast infection causes. You must know some things to avoid and some things that you shouldn’t avoid, and take it into serious consideration. Here are some of the most common symptoms on the following paragraph.

Many women are concerned on how a yeast infection is formed and that’s ok I will tell you how. Inside our body, everyone has a fungus called yeast. These yeast are known as bacteria hat lives safely inside our body with out causing any harm to us. But, at one point when our body has very low white cells to protect the body from the yeast bacteria that may try to overgrow it then causes the yeast bacteria to multiply rapidly. The reason this happens is because the following: the body changes frequently that are caused by exercise, stress, dieting and hygiene. After many changes hat o cur inside our body, the yeast then gets upset and looks for a warm environment to thrive on such as the vagina, the rectum and the mouth.

The white discharge signifies that it is a fungi that’s causing it to look like that. Did you ever notice a picture of a nail fungus? You will notice that there are yellow spots inside and across the nail. But, nail fungus doesn’t have any type of discharge, I just wanted you to get an idea of how a fungus looks like. The discharge looks really similar to the color of a nail fungi.

At this moment you might either be reading and eating at the same time. It’s not my business. But, I have to mention that yeast bacteria will feed from foods we eat and thus causing the fungus to grow. If your currently a “soda” lover and your the type that can’t live with out it, then I would recommend that you stop drinking it immediately. Since soda carries lots of sugars and carbohydrates this causes the fungus to also grow inside the body. So avoid it.

Did you ever try over the counter medications that worked at first? But then, your symptoms just came right back in full force? That’s the problem with most medications now and days. The majority of the time it will only relieve the symptoms and it will eventually cause your symptoms to come right back. The reason this happens is because the medications aren’t attacking the “root” of the problem. If you want to learn more about the amazing cure: click the link you see below.
