I love buying people gifts for Christmas! I’m a college student so that means that my funds are low! I would like to get my boyfriend a lot because he spends a lot of money on me but, I dont want to spend "a lot" of money. How do I work this out?

Think thoughtful gifts rather than expensive ….notice the little things he might need.
I remember getting my ex one of those bath robes that only goes around the mans waist ( sought of like a big towel with Velcro) He loved it for many years and it was CHEAP !

How about a nice picture frame with a nice picture of you two…
You can get creative and make him up some "coupons" they could be for love , snuggles, or a home cooked meal.
how about making him a nice tin of homemade chocolate chip cookies?

So if you receive the gifts before Christmas, what do you do?

Do you open them right away?
Put them under the tree?
Ask the sender?
Or what?

Typically – you can do this:

Call the sender to let them know the package arrived safely, and presents are under the tree. If they want you to open them early, they will tell you.

Open on Christmas (or Christmas Eve, for some of us) and send thank you notes by mail as appropriate.

Hello! I don’t have much money for Christmas gifts this year, so I decided to home make them. So far I’ve decided I’m going to take pictures on a disposable camera, get them developed, and decorate them/make a Christmas frame. Or something like that. Does anyone artistic/creative have any ideas what to do with a photo to make a good present? I’m not good at art like that. Thanks.

Anytime I’ve given a photo as a gift it is either a picture of something dear to me, or to the person receiving, or both. Just keep it simple. Of course u have to be good with the camera to capture a moment, but that’s up to you.

My boyfriend always showers me with gifts for no reason at all, a lot of times he’ll buy me jewelry. For Christmas I wanted to get him a piece of jewelry, but I can’t afford it, unless I get him something really cheap and crappy. He’s hard to shop for because he has everything, because if he wants something he just goes out and buys it.

Do you think he’ll think I’m cheap if I just get him things like shirts, cologne, maybe a few other small things? He never seems like he expects anything in return when he buys me things, but it just makes me feel bad.

If the 2 of you have been together for any amount of time he will know what your money situation is. If he truly cares about you he will not look at how much a gift cost. Instead he will look at the love and thought you put into the gift.

I need a little extra money this Christmas for gifts. Any ideas?

I have a really small budget but they are the children of my really good friend and I’d like to get them something at Christmas. Any ideas for gifts costing $20 or less? For the 9 year old how about a Bratz doll? I always liked playing with those. They run from about 15-20$. Or something Hannah Montana like her new Cd.

For the 12 year old what about some jewelry or a movie? I was picky at this age so maybe a GiftCard to the mall, or an Itunes giftcard if she has an Ipod.

If you really aren’t sure what to get them, just get them a Giftcard to the mall, I always loved getting that.

My school does christmas baskets every year. That means each class homeroom get a family donated by a church and the family members are divided up by the class. I got an 11 mouth old girl and i need good gift ideas. keep in mind they are kind of poor so they also need necessities gifts such as a blanket.

I’m assuming that you do mean "months" and not "mouths" and I suggest that you get some clothes that are a bit bigger in age so she can get some decent use out of them as well as clothes that are suitable for next year, like summer clothes.

Also as you suggested a blanket is a nice idea as well as a cuddly toy.

What about a few items of non perishable food as well. This would benefit the family as well.

I have to mail all my Christmas gifts this year to my family and I don’t want to have to pay a lot for shipping. Would it be 1 or 2 weeks?

it depends where you ship it from(like the post office or a ups store or whereever else) but some places itll be a week before and others it can be as late as dec. 21 for normal shipping. check with the place where youll be shipping from. they usually have something posted or will let you know.
